Inaugural meeting a great success

The inaugural meeting of the Crawley Town Disabled Supporters’ Association took place in Redz Bar last Thursday. It was attended by 18 people – a further six said they couldn’t come but sent their apologies.

Mat Sadler and Joe Walsh were there to greet them and have a chat, together with Michael Dunford and Rhona Kaye, who provided a delicious buffet.

The first draft of a video, showing the access aspects of the Checkatrade.com Stadium, was viewed and widely acclaimed. A final edited version will be published on the website in due course.

A lively discussion took place and a small steering group was identified to take ideas forward. The notes of the meeting, together with the agenda and outcomes of the discussion, can be read here.

Many people were meeting each other for the first time and it’s hoped that over time more people will join the group.
