First fans delighted to renew season tickets for 2014-15
Matt Howlett this morning became the first 2014-15 season ticket holder at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.
Matt, along with his 10-year-old son Alex, have been season ticket holders for five years and did not hesitate in renewing for the 2014-15 campaign.
They sit in Block B in the AJD Group West Stand and Matt is also a regular attendee away from home to cheer on his beloved Reds.
When asked what the most enjoyable aspect in supporting the Reds, Matt said: “The thing I enjoy most about supporting Crawley Town is the family aspect of the club. We’re all one big family and the staff and players are close to the fans, you wouldn’t get that in the Premier League.”
Alex, now 10, also loves supporting the Reds and his dad can sense the excitement when Crawley are at home. “Without a doubt Alex’s highlight of every week is when Crawley Town are playing, he can’t wait for the next home game,” said his Dad.
The Reds have enjoyed memorable matches at home this season and Matt believes the 2-1 victory over Wolves in March was the best yet.
“There’s been a few fantastic games but the Wolves win was the best in Crawley Town’s history. We’ve had some massive cup games but the atmosphere that night was amazing and for us to beat the champions-elect of League One says it all really.”
