Walsh eyes back to back home wins

Skipper Joe Walsh says Reds can take the confidence gained from an unbeaten League run of four games into our two back-to-back home matches.

Reds host Scunthorpe United on Saturday at the Checkatrade.com Stadium before Chesterfield are the visitors for the first competitive meeting between the teams on November 29.

Joe, appointed club captain last week, said: "These next two games are massive for us.

"We've got a little unbeaten run going in the League and although three of those were draws we got a really point on Saturday at Oldham and that has given us a lot of confidence.

"We made ourselves hard to beat again like we were at the start of the season up at Oldham. Now we have to take that into Saturday's game.

"At home we have to play slightly differently. We have to be on the front foot a bit more and one of the things were have to do is start better than the opposition, especially in front of our own fans.

"If we play with intensity like we did in the cup game against Gillingham at the start they will get behind us and hopefully we can kick on from there.

"Two wins would give everyone a big lift and put us into a good position in the League. I know the lads are capable of doing that if we play at our best."
