Community Foundation awards on September 1
The Crawley Town Community Foundation are hosting the Junior Football Leaders Awards on Thursday 1st September 2016 at the Checkatrade Stadium.
As part of the Community Foundation's commitment to working with young people, and following feedback from both parents and young people, the Junior Football Leaders Award will be being held at the Checkatrade Stadium.
Open to young people between the ages of 12 and 15, the awards provide a basic introduction to the leadership skills required in football. It introduces four key areas: Assisting Football Activity Sessions, an introduction to refereeing, Helping with a Team & and Introduction to Football Events
We can now confirm the course details to be as follows:
Date & Time: September 2016stThursday 1
Venue: Checkatrade Stadium (venue subject to change depending on the number of participants.
Cost: £30 per young person
Kit Required: Loosely fitted clothing, shin pads, astro boots, snacks, lunch and drink.
Additional Information: There are between 16 and 24 places available on this course – should the minimum number not be met; the Community Foundation reserves the right to cancel the course.
