Haines in charge

26 September 2016

Tuesday's officials confirmed...

Andy Haines will take charge of Crawley Town’s home game with Colchester United on Tuesday evening.

Mr Haines has taken charge of the Reds on five previous occasions during his refereeing career.

The most recent of those games was last season in the side’s 4-1 defeat away to Accrington Stanley. In that game, Mr Haines issued three red cards – Simon Walton was dismissed for the Reds and two home players were also given red cards.

A year earlier, Mr Haines officiated Crawley’s 1-0 home win in the Capital One Cup game against Ipswich Town at the start of the 2014/15 season.

The other three Reds games refereed by Mr Haines are:

2012/13 –  Notts County 1-1 Crawley Town

2011/12 -  Rotherham United 1-2 Crawley Town

                 Barnet 1-2 Crawley Town

He will be assisted by Mr Carl Fitch-Jackson and Mr Michael Webb. The fourth official will be Mr Dean Treleaven.
