To celebrate FA Girls Football Week, and as part of our continuing commitment to the development of women's and girls football, Crawley Town Community Foundation is pleased to be hosting the first Girls Football Awareness evening on Wednesday, 12th October, 2016. The event will run from 7-9pm at the Checkatrade Stadium.
Jointly organised by Crawley Town Community Foundation (CTCF) and Sussex County FA, the evening will bring together local participants, schools, grassroots clubs and others with an interest in women's and girls football. The evening will provide a national and local update of women and girls participation, including information about the new Premier League Girls programme, run by Crawley Town Community Foundation.
There will also be an opportunity to discuss the local girls football offer and gaps in provision, and identify potential solutions to increase girlsand women’s football participation.
Refreshments will be available at the event, and there will be plenty of opportunity for networking!
