Head Coach spells out desire to end the season with a flourish

Head Coach Dermot Drummy wants a strong finish to the season after our return to winning ways on Saturday.

A 3-0 win over Leyton Orient was our first victory for a month and first at home since we defeated Hartlepool in mid-January.

With seven games to go Dermot says the squad are looking upwards and are determined to use Saturday’s win as a springboard for a climb up the table.

“We’ve got some interesting games left, nearly all of them against sides fighting for promotion or the play-offs or teams fighting to stay in the division,” said Dermot.

“That’s good for us because it means our intensity levels have to be high, week in, week out. I am determined that we won’t ease up between now and the end of the season and

the players have to have exactly the same mindset in every game right up until Mansfield on May 6.”
