Deadman in charge

19 April 2017

Match officials appointed for Saturday's home game against Carlisle

Darren Deadman will take charge of Saturday's home game against Carlisle United, kick off 3pm.

The Cambridgeshire official will referee a game involving the Reds for the third time this season having previously taken charge of the FA Cup First Round game at home to Bristol Rovers at the start of November, which finished 1-1, and last month's 3-0 home defeat to Crewe.

Mr Deadman has officiated 46 games across the EFL and cup competitions so far this season - issuing 153 yellow cards and seven reds.

The referee had previously officiated the Reds' 3-1 League Cup loss away to Norwich City back in August 2014, as well as a preliminary round win in the same competition over AFC Wimbledon in 2011 and a 3-0 defeat to Portsmouth in 2012 in League One.

He will be assisted by Dave Bushell and Dan Cook. Adrian Tranter is the fourth official.
