Video: Goalkeeper signs on for two more seasons
The club are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Glenn Morris has signed a new two-year contract which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2018-19 season.
The 33-year-old joined Reds last summer in a player-coach capacity but broke into the team in September and has gone on to play 30 times
for the Reds. He has saved penalties in his last two games.
Glenn said: “I’m delighted to have committed myself to the club for the next two years.
“We brought a lot of players in last summer and I think that’s one of the reasons we have perhaps not been as consistent as we’d liked.
“That’s stopped us getting into the play-off picture but I think it’s important that we push on and try to finish the season strongly. We’re capable of doing that.
“Then next season, with a lot of lads who are already here, we can hopefully push on.”
