Matt expects tough test

Tubbs: "We'll go to Bradford in good spirits"

Reds striker Matt Tubbs believes Saturday's trip to Bradford City will be a tough test for Crawley as they look to end the season on a high.

Crawley travel to Valley Parade looking to complete the double over the Valiants, having defeated them 1-0 at the Checkatrade.com Stadium in October.

The Reds recently had their three match winning streak ended by Notts County on Monday and Tubbs believes his side will be in for another difficult 90 minutes.

Matt said: "It won't be easy, I've played against Bradford a couple of times and they're a strong physical team."

The fixture represents the eight match in April for Crawley, something that Matt admits takes it toll on the players but believes Reds will go again with high intensity.

"We've had a tough run going into the game in terms of fixtures but we'll go there in good spirits and hope for a good result," Matt added. "There's no reason for the players to take this match half hearted, we'll go there to win."

The tie at Valley Parade is the final away match of the season for the Reds, in a campaign on the road which features four wins, eight draws and ten defeats.

"It's been a mixed bag on the road. We've certainly played better and got good results against the so called bigger teams in the division, so with a big crowd and a big pitch on Saturday it should suit us."

Matt was quick to point out the importance of ending the season on a high, taking momentum going forward into next term.

"You always want to finish on a high, it will automatically lead you into next season with a bit of confidence."
