Brighton at the Broadfield tonight

Richie Barker is anticipating a tough test as Reds entertain Championship opposition for the third time in pre-season.

New coach Oscar Garcia brings his Brighton side to the Broadfield tonight (7.45pm) as both sides build up to the start of the Sky Bet League campaign on August 3.

The Seagulls were beaten in the play-off semi-final by Crystal Palace, our opponents on Saturday, but they have had a successful pre-season so far including two wins in Spain last week.

Richie, a former Brighton player, said: "In our two previous home games we came across two fairly physical sides in Ipswich and Millwall.

"I would imagine it would be a different type of game tomorrow. Brighton play a different type of football in a lot of sides and their new manager will encourage them to keep doing that.

"I think it will be a good game to watch with both sides hopefully zipping it about."

Richie confirmed that Jonte Smith will be out for 4-6 weeks after damaging his ankle against Millwall ten days ago.

Tickets for the game are still available. For details please click here.

There will be live commentary on the match on Reds Player. To subscribe, or watch our pre-match video with Richie, click here.
