TEAM NEWS

Joe McNerney (knee) and Jimmy Smith (foot) are both missing for Reds. Lanre Oyebanjo has travelled with the squad but manager Mark Yates does not expect him to figure in the matchday squad.

Accrington are still without key midfielder Josh Windass, who is recovering from double hernia surgery.

THE FORM GUIDE

Reds have won five of their last 13, losing the other eight. Crawley have only drawn one game since August 29.

Accrington have only played seven League games since the start of December, winning three and losing three. They have won their last two at home but lost 2-0 at Carlisle, whom they meet again next Tuesday, last Saturday.

VIEW FROM THE BOSS

"Accrington looked a very good side when they beat us in September. We were on a bad run and also had Luke Rooney sent off and I am confident we can give a much better account of ourselves on Saturday.

"I have a lot of admiration for what (Accrington manager) John Coleman has done up there. They don't get big crowds so money is tight but he has shown what is possible if you get the opportunity to put a squad together and work with them for a period of time."

WE’VE MET BEFORE?

This will be the eighth meeting between the clubs, stretching back to both clubs' Conference days back in 2004.
