MATCH OFFICIALS
Referee: Stephen Bratt Assistants: Ian Cooper and Rob Hyde
Fourth official: Jake Hillier
TEAM NEWS
Claude Davis and Sergio Torres are both doubtful for this evening’s game for Reds, with Davis coming off against Leyton Orient and Sergio still struggling from the knock he picked up against Bolton. New signing Mike Jones may make his first start for the club.
Martin Allen will rest a few of his player’s after Saturday’s game, while Tommy Forecast, who hasn’t featured in the league yet, will get a chance this evening.
MANAGER’S THOUGHTS
Richie Barker: “I spoke to the players and said I want to go to Wembley. We will give it a good go and people will see with the team I put out that we’re giving it a good go. It won’t be easy, playing a team top of the league and full of confidence will be difficult.”
Martin Allen: “We will be resting a few of our players from Saturday’s game but we have a strong enough squad to put in a good performance. The players with knocks and injuries will of course be rested and everyone else will play.”
LAST TIME OUT
Reds beat Leyton Orient 1-0 thanks to Nicky Ajose's goal while Gillingham drew 1-1 at home to Chesterfield in League Two.
THE LAST MEETING
Dannie Bulman’s solitary goal away at Gillingham was enough to hand Reds a 1-0 win, while last time at the Broadfield Jo Kuffour scored twice to hand the Gills a 2-1 win.
