Defender signs new three year deal with Reds
Reds are delighted to confirm that defender Kyle McFadzean has signed a new three-year contract.
The deal keeps the highly-rated defender at the club until the end of the 2015-16 season.
Kyle signed for the club from non-league Alfreton two years ago and has played a massive role in the back-to-back promotions achieved by the club.
He has been coveted by several Championship clubs but is delighted to have committed his future to Crawley Town.
He said: “I am very pleased to have signed this new contract.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed the last two years at the club, helping Crawley Town reach League 1.
“I can’t wait for the new season and hopefully we can achieve more success. This is a fantastic football club to be part of and when I was offered the opportunity to sign a new contract I was delighted to do so.”
Manager Richie Barker said: “It’s fantastic news and it was my priority when I came to the club.
“It took some getting there but I think we’re all pleased it’s done and I think he’s happy it has been done.
“The club has him for another three years and I have a settled player, it’s been talked about for a long time but now everyone can relax.
“To have him and Claude signed is a real statement of intent, hopefully it proves we’re going in the right direction and that we can keep our better players.”
