Dannie & Gary Alexander interviews available on Reds Player
Dannie Bulman was delighted to prove his worth to boss Richie Barker as Reds won 2-1 away to Preston North End at Deepdale.
The midfielder was recalled to the side with Josh Simpson and Hope Akpan suspended, and he produced an excellent display to help Reds to victory.
Speaking after the game, he said: "We've got people like myself biting at the bit to get in the side and prove to the manager you're worthy of the shirt.
"Apart from the late goal, they (Preston) didn't really have much and I thought we controlled most of the play.
"We knew what they would be like, very direct. We almost let them win the flick ons and then made sure we picked up the seconds. I thought we passed the ball well too."
The win against Preston is a far cry from the sides and grounds Reds were playing at just two seasons ago, and Dannie says that if someone had said we'd be taking all three points away from Deepdale in a league game, he'd have thought they were crazy.
"To say to any player or Crawley fan that you'd be winning away at Preston you'd have thought they were nuts.
"We're very happy with the way things are going and we need to just keep ticking along and see where it takes us."
On Reds Player, there is also an interview with skipper Gary Alexander after his brace sealed the win against Graham Westley's side.
