Striker Gary Alexander was a proud man tonight as he led out Reds for the first time in a competitive game.Alexander was captain of a full-strength side for the trip to his former club Millwall in the first round of the Capital One Cup.
Richie Barker's first selection saw the same side which started against Brighton on Friday line up at the Den.
It meant competitive debuts for four of our summer signings with the other, Shaun Cooper, among the seven subs.
Millwall included new signing Danny Shittu, although the experienced defender was named on the bench.
