Sadler, McFadzean and Adams all selected in Team of the Week

Reds had three players selected in the Team of the Week for League 1 after our excellent 2-1 win at Preston.

Nicky Adams, Mat Sadler and Kyle McFadzean, who was named in the team for the third time already this season, were all included in the X1.

Nicky was influential in setting up the first goal for Gary Alexander while Kyle and Mat performed admirably to stop Preston from getting back into the game.

Crawley Town ended Preston North End's five-match unbeaten run with a 2-1 win at Deepdale and they have three players in the npower League 1 Team of the Week.

Nicky Adams set up Gary Alexander's first goal of the afternoon to get his name included, while defensive pair Kyle McFadzean and Mat Sadler impressed throughout the 90 minutes.

Joining the Crawley duo at the back is Stevenage's David Gray and Oldham Athletic's Jean Yves Mvoto. Gray shone as Stevenage drew 2-2 with Crewe Alexandra and Mvoto played a key role in the Latics' 2-2 draw with high-flying Notts County.

Ajay Leitch-Smith scored Crewe's two goals in that game against Stevenage at the Lamex Stadium and he is partnered by Carlisle United's Jake Jervis up front, who also scored twice on Saturday, against Swindon Town.

Jervis, who is on loan from Birmingham City, opened the scoring for the Cumbrians in the 14th minute before adding to his tally on the half hour mark. It wasn't enough for three points, though, as the Robins grabbed a draw.

Milton Keynes Dons' Darren Potter and Doncaster Rovers' David Cotterill both played pivotal roles on Saturday as their respective teams recorded wins.

Potter was key for the Dons in their 1-0 success at home to Yeovil Town, while Cotterill scored for Rovers as they beat Colchester United away from home.

Scunthorpe United's Mark Duffy completes the four-man midfield. The winger was lively all afternoon as the Iron beat Shrewsbury Town by a goal to nil.

Finally, Sheffield United's goalkeeper Mark Howard takes the place between the sticks for his performance in the Blades' 1-1 draw with Bury.
