Director of Football: Steve Coppell

Steve Coppell

Steve is one of the most widely-respected figures in the English game thanks to a stellar career both as a player and then manager.

He made 322 appearances and scored 53 goals during eight years at Manchester United after joining them from Tranmere in 1975 and he also won 42 England caps and represented his country at the 1982 World Cup.

After a knee injury curtailed his career Steve successfully turned to management and in 1984 began the first of four spells with Crystal Palace, leading them to the 1990 FA Cup final, a year after guiding the club into the First Division.

He had two further spells with Palace either side of a period as manager of Manchester City and he was back at Selhurst Park for a fourth time in 1999 before successful stints at Brentford and Brighton. In 2003 he moved to Reading and three years later guided them into the Premier League for the first time in their history. After leaving Reading in 2009 he had a spell in charge of Championship club Bristol City.

Steve was appointed Director of Football in April 2012.

Caretaker Manager: Craig Brewster

He played 667 games for ten clubs, including a spell in Greece with Ionikos between 1996-2001, scoring 196 goals.

He began his carer in 1985 with Forfar and also played for Raith Rovers, Dundee United, Hibernian, Dunfermline Athletic, Inverness CT, Aberdeen and Ross County. Craig also managed Inverness in two spells between 2004-06 and 2007-09 and also had a brief spell in charge of Dundee United.

Most recently he worked as assistant to Derek Adams at Ross County before heading south in the summer. Craig was appointed Caretaker Manager in April 2012 following the departure of Steve Evans and his assistant Paul Raynor.

Physiotherapist: Mark Stein

Mark Stein

Mark began his professional career at Luton Town but it was with Chelsea that he made his name as one of the most consistent goalscorers of his generation.

He made 531 League appearances and scored 216 goals and set a new Premier League record at Stamford Bridge by scoring in seven consecutive games in 1993-94, having joined the club for £1.6m after scoring 52 goals in 89 appearances for Stoke City. He also had successful spells with Aldershot, Queens Park Rangers, Oxford United, Bournemouth and Dagenham & Redbridge before ending his 19-year playing career in 2003.

He qualified as a physiotherapist and after working for Barnet FC joined Crawley Town in September 2010.
