The 29-year-old attacking midfielder has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract after he left Leyton Orient by mutual consent in September 2016.
Dean started his career with Brighton & Hove Albion in 2004 and made 179 appearances for the Seagulls, scoring 22 goals. In 2010 Dean joined Leyton Orient and made 275 appearances for the O’s where he became a popular figure with their supporters. He scored 59 goals for the club and was a member of the squad which reached the League One play-off final in 2014.
He made his debut in the 2-0 win over Yeovil Town on January 2, 2017.
