Defender looks ahead to Sheffield United trip

Defender Dean Leacock says Saturday's trip to Bramall Lane gives Reds the perfect opportunity to put Tuesday's first defeat of the season behind us.

Reds conceded their first goals of the season after 349 minutes without letting one in during the 3-1 defeat to Bradford City.

And they face Yorkshire opposition again against a Sheffield United side Reds have beaten and drawn with on two previous trips to the Steel City.

Dean said: "Obviously we're disappointed to lose the unbeaten record but I still think two wins out of three and progress in the cup is a good start for us.

"I think it was just down to individual mistakes on Tuesday. I didn't feel that we defended that badly. But it's gone now. We had a chat about it on Wednesday and now we're all preparing for Saturday."

The Blades got their first league victory on Tuesday with a 2-1 success at Peterborough and Dean knows it's going to be a difficult afternoon.

"They have made a lot of changes to their squad like us and they are rightly one of the favourites to go up so it will be a hard game," he added.

"But it's a great place to play and we should really look forward to going there. It might be a bit similar to the Barnsley game and if we can go there and nick a goal and a win, which we feel we can, then it would be a great way to respond to Tuesday night."
