Former captain joins Reds Player team
We are delighted to announce that Reds have re-signed former club captain Tony Vessey.
Vess is back at the Checkatrade.com Stadium this season as part of the Reds Player team that will bring full match commentary on every home and away game.
He will be summarising at home matches with commentator John Barnett, bringing his expertise as a former Crawley Town player, with more than 400 appearances for the club under his belt, and as an ex-professional with Brighton & Hove Albion, where his team-mates included current Reds' boss John Gregory.
Tony said: "I'm really looking forward to working on Reds Player and BBC Sussex this season. Hopefully I can bring a former player's insight into the team, what's going on during the game and, of course, hopefully see John Gregory and the boys win lots of matches this season."
Reds Player is the club's own channel which brings live commentary on every game, home and away, throughout the season.
