Community Foundation grant awarded for Capers' project
Our Community Department got their hands on a £50,000 cheque on Saturday.It was the grant they received from the Peoples Millions after Vote4Capers won last week's telephone vote to land the big prize.
The money will be used to continue and enhance the work the club have been doing since the summer with autistic children, who attend regular sessions with their parents here at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.
Some of the children who will continue to benefit from the Capers' project and their parents were here on Saturday at the Chesterfield game when the cheque was handed over at half-time to Head of Community Birtug Kazim.
