TEAM NEWS

Izale McLeod serves the final game of his three-match ban. Lanre Oyebanjo (calf) is doubtful and Josh Simpson (hamstring) is definitely out. Gwion Edwards hopes to return after recovering from a hernia operation and is back in training.

Leyton Orient have a host of injury worries with nine players out although midfielder Dean Cox, who started last Saturday's 2-0 defeat at Barnsley on the bench, is expected to have recovered from an ankle knock to be in contention for a start.

VIEW FROM INSIDE THE CAMP

John Gregory: "There has to be a big collective improvement on last Saturday which was so disappointing. It's a big game considering the league positions of both teams and we have to go there and get something, which I feel we are capable of doing. We've got a good record against them - let's hope it continues."

Fabio Liverani (Leyton Orient manager, pictured): "Last week at Barnsley (2-0 defeat) was a step back for us. We have a lot of injury problems at the moment. We need those players back and to strengthen in January, but it is important to get a result in the next two games. Friday is like a Champions League final for us."

WE’VE MET BEFORE?

This is the fifth meeting between the teams in the League and Reds have won all the previous four which have all been in League One. In 2012-13 we won both games 1-0 and last season triumphed 3-2 away and 2-1 at home against the O's.
