Stevenage match preview

A look ahead to today's game

Reds play their first home league game since December 29 on Saturday when we entertain Stevenage.

MATCH OFFICIALS

Referee: Iain Williamson Assistants: Neil Hare and Andrew Fox Fourth Official: Thomas Ramsey

TEAM NEWS

Dannie Bulman (fractured cheekbone) is Reds' only absentee.

Stevenage have no fresh injury concerns.

VIEW FROM INSIDE THE CAMP

John Gregory: "If you look at their results Stevenage have beaten the likes of Brentford, Peterborough and Leyton Orient this season so I think they are in a false position. It is going to be a very hard game and we will need to be at our best to get the result we want."

Graham Westley (Stevenage manager): "I know John Gregory well. We were players together at QPR and as a senior pro he gave me lots of good advice. Crawley are in good hands with him and they are a well-managed club with some good players and a decent brand of football. It will be tough but the same goes for every game in the league."

WE'VE MET BEFORE

This will be the fourth meeting between the clubs. Last season we won 2-1 at Stevenage thanks to goals from Dannie Bulman and Hope Akpan. Matt Sparrow's equaliser earned us a 1-1 draw at home on Good Friday and this season's reverse fixture at the Lamex ended in a 2-0 defeat for Reds.

FORM GUIDE

Reds have lost just three of their last 14 in all competitions. Stevenage have won two and lost five of their last seven in league and cup.
