Under-18s back to winning ways

6 February 2014

Youngsters down Daggers

In their first South East Alliance league game for nearly six weeks, the under-18s won 2-0 at Dagenham & Redbridge on Tuesday.

Despite the absence of five players through injury, Steve Martin's side produced a dominant performance and should have won more convincingly.

Steve said: "It was an excellent display, especially considering we were missing quite a few lads. We scored two good goals and created a lot of chances."

Reds went in front when Harry Anderson (pictured) finished off a good passing move in the first half and Emmanuel Rowe sealed the win after the break, smashing the ball home when Alex Laing's header from a corner came back off the bar.

Laing, Rowe, Cecil Jee and Anderson had other chances for Reds to stretch their advantage.

Reds: Colquorn, Smith, Robinson, Cadman, Woon, Richefond, Isaacs, Gill, Anderson, Rowe, Jee. Subs: Haigh, Koaudio, Laing.
