Season ticket sales boost

2 June 2014

CEO delighted with response so far

Chief Executive Michael Dunford is delighted with season-ticket sales at the end of the Early Bird renewal period.

He said: “Already 70% of supporters who were season-ticket holders at the start of last season have purchased theirs for the 2014-15 campaign which we are very pleased with.

“Our fans still have until June 30 to renew their season ticket and keep the same seat they had last season – and watch four games for free with the saving they make.

“We are also pleased with the numbers of new season-ticket holders we have but we obviously we would like to sell even more. The new 18-21 age group category has been very popular and so have our price of £49 for under-11s.

“So we’re very pleased but we would urge anyone who has not renewed yet to get down to the Checkatrade.com Stadium and make sure they are behind John Gregory and the lads next season.

The revenue generated by season-ticket sales is vital in terms of our plans to build a squad capable of challenging for honours in League One.

“John and the board of directors are continuing to work extremely hard to add to the squad and we are working on several targets at the moment which we hope will come to fruition in the coming weeks.”
