Palace duo extend stay

KaiKai and Boateng to remain at Reds

Crawley Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Sullay Kaikai and Hiram Boateng have extended their loans from Crystal Palace until 5th April 2014.

The two youngsters' original loan deals were due to expire this weekend but Reds boss John Gregory was quick to extend the stay of the two loanees.

Both have featured in the first team since their arrival at the Checkatrade.com Stadium.

Kaikai made his debut against Peterborough in last Saturday’s 1-0 win while midfielder Boateng got 45 minutes on Tuesday in the 1-1 draw against Stevenage.

John Gregory told the official website on Thursday his delight of the progress made by the Palace duo.

JG said: “Both Hiram and Sullay both now appreciate what it’s all about. When they go back out next time they’ll have a totally different picture about what it’s all about,” added the boss.


“It’s not like Academy football, but when you’ve done something for two years in the same manner and suddenly you have to change it is a bit of a shock. But they will be fine and will be a little bit more prepared next time.”


Both Kaikai and Boateng go into tomorrow's squad as the Reds take on Gillingham.
