A look ahead to Tuesday night's game

Reds face FA Cup semi-finalists Sheffield United on Tuesday, kick off 7.45pm at the Checkatrade.com Stadium

Assistants: Carl Brook and Mark Mellor

Fourth Official: Darren Blunden

TEAM NEWS

Neither side report fresh injury worries.

VIEW FROM INSIDE THE CAMP

John Gregory: “In terms of their recent form Sheffield United are up there with Wolves so we know it’s going to be a very tough game for us. But at home we tend to give the bigger clubs a hard 90 minutes and the boys are very keen to put a poor result behind them.”

Nigel Clough (Sheffield United manager): “Seeing our lads go from second bottom a couple of months ago to going toe to toe with the team at the top of table on Saturday suggests we are not that far off. It was disappointing to lose to Wolves but, at the same time, I think we can take lots of encouragement and we will look to bounce back on Tuesday.

WE’VE MET BEFORE

The sides have met on three previous occasions and it’s honours even so far. Back in October, Jamie Proctor put Reds in front at Bramall Lane but it finished 1-1. Last season United won 2-0 in West Sussex thanks to a brace from Tony McMahon while goals from Paul Hayes and Billy Clarke earned Reds a 2-0 win in the return fixture last April.

FORM GUIDE

Reds have lost just two of their last 11 league games while United’s defeat on Saturday to Wolves was their first in 12 league and cup games.
