Support Missing People

1 March 2014

Sign up to help at Peterborough game today

Today’s match ball sponsors are the Missing People Charity.

Volunteers from the charity will ask both sets of fans at the game against Peterborough to sign up for Child Rescue Alert (CRA) updates, as the charity begins a two-match campaign to spread awareness of missing people from both club’s regions.

This event marks Crawley Town’s continued support of the charity in advance of the formal launch of the Child Rescue Alert System in May, which will swiftly issue appeals for abducted and vulnerable children and maximise the chances of bringing them home safely.

The charity will also renew its appeals for three people who are currently missing from the Peterborough and surrounding areas and one person from Crawley.

So please look out for Missing People volunteers who will be talking to fans around the stadium this afternoon and on Tuesday evening before the match and encouraging them to join the search for missing people.

Anyone with information or concern about a missing person should call or text the confidential helpline 116 000.

Missing People’s vision is that every missing child, adult and family left behind finds help, hope and a safe way to reconnect. For more in formation go to www.missingpeople.org.uk
