Al and Isaac will be back ...

25 May 2014

Renew your season ticket by May 31 and make a saving

Father and son Al and ten-year-old Isaac Walsh are the latest Reds’fans to have saved money by buying their season ticket before the Early Bird deadline on May 31.

Both are looking forward to watching the Reds for a third consecutive season in League One and John Gregory's first full campaign in charge. Al said: “We're local and enjoy watching football. We've decided to come back hopefully for a good season again.

“We've been season ticket holders for three years now but have been coming to Crawley for about five or six years and have sat in various areas. We're in the Checkatrade.com East Stand. Last year we were in the family stand in block G.”

Isaac, whose favourite Reds player is Josh Simpson, is happy with the job JG has done so far and there is one player in particular who he wants to see play at the Checkatrade.com Stadium for the 2014-15 campaign.

“He (John) has had a good season and next season I want to see us winning more games and scoring more goals," he said. "I want to see Fernando Torres here next season!”

John has had a positive effect on Al, who is pleased with what he's seen from the team since arrival. “He's did a good job considering the fixture backlog. He's encouraged the players and has done a lot with what he had. I'd like to see him use the youngsters but, on the whole, he's a good manager and he's someone who can attract some very good players.”

“I think we can finish in the top half of the table next season which would be another good season for Crawley in my opinion.”
