Eight days to go ....

Sean's with us next season - make sure you are!

With only eight days remaining until the Early Bird season-ticket deadline, 39-year-old Sean Peters has snapped up his seat in the AJD West Stand for another season, and made a saving at the same time.

The 2014/15 campaign will be Sean's fourth as a season-ticket holder and he tells us why he's decided to take up the option to renew.

He said: “I like the friendliness of the club. When I renewed my season ticket the staff were great and the service was quick and simple as well. It's nice to support your local side rather than traipsing up to London to watch other sides. If we can get another 200 people coming down to Crawley and wearing their Reds’ shirt then it will all help.”

Sean believes he has the best seat in the house. “I sit in the West Stand and I think the view is better better than anywhere else in the stadium. I don't go on the terrace because I have a bad back and bad eyes! I used to prefer standing on the half-way line before the East Stand build.”

Sean is very positive when reflecting on the job John Gregory has done since arriving in December 2013 and is feeling optimistic looking ahead to JG's first full campaign as Crawley manager.

“I think it's very encouraging (under John)”, Sean added. “I like the style of football that's played under John, it's either win or lose and there's not much time for drawing with John's teams which makes for an exciting game. Next season is going to be an exciting one as well. I'd like to see football back on the floor where it's meant to be played. We don't want to see long ball football – and we don't see that under John too often.”

A reminder that there are just EIGHT days left to save yourself some money and book your place at the Checkatrade.com Stadium for next season with our Early Bird prices.

Why not get in the mood by watching our video. The Box Office is open over the Bank Holiday weekend and you can also see how much you can save by purchasing your season ticket before May 31.
