Your views on the programme and how we plan to improve it
Our 2013-14 programme survey produced an excellent response from our fans and we would like to thank everyone who took part.
Your responses have certainly given us food for thought as we start planning next season’s programme.
The vast majority of supporters prefer the A5 shape and we will be sticking with that next season, although pagination is likely to rise to 72 making it the biggest programme in the club’s history.
You wanted to see more features on the players and people behind the scenes, which we will do. You also would like more competitions while Face In The Crowd, which we ran in the 2011-12 programme, will be making its return by popular demand!
We were pleased that 66% of respondents buy the programme every game or more often than not and that 26% thought it had improved a lot compared to 2012-13 and 52% felt there had been a modest improvement.
The most popular feature was John Gregory’s match notes with player Q&As, features on the team and Chief Executive Michael Dunford’s column not far behind.
We are looking to involve our fans more in next season’s programme. A lot of respondents would like to see a supporter contributing a regular column on life as a Crawley Town fan, especially the away trips and this is something we will incorporate.
There will be a fresh design and look, including the statistics pages, but we will also take into consideration the comments of many respondents in the survey who like the fact that our current programme is reader-friendly with no small eye-straining type.
All your views will be taken on board in our endeavour to produce an even better match programme next season.
