Remembrance Day commemoration before tonight's game

There will be a short Remembrance Day commemoration before kick off in tonight's Johnstone's Paint Trophy game against Gillingham.

After the players emerge from the tunnel, Captain Fraser Alexander of the 103 Batallion MEME will make his way to the centre circle whilst the respective captains will lay a wreath of poppies in both goalmouths.

After the players gather in the centre circle, Captain Alexander will play the Last Post which will be followed by a minute's silence.

The players will be wearing special unique match shirts with the poppy emblem and the words Lest We Forget on them. These shirts have been auctioned and the proceeds after costs are deducted will be given to the Crawley Branch of the Royal British Legion.

The RBL will be collecting before tonight's game around the stadium and we ask supporters to please give generously.
