Conor and Gwion visit Warninglid School

9 October 2014

Reds' players join in training session as part of schools' partnership

The club is currently working with around 20 primary schools delivering over 20 sessions a week in and around Crawley.

Schools work is one of the core aspects and cornerstones of the Crawley Town Community Sports Foundation’s work, providing children and young people a positive, active and healthy start to sports participation and life in general.

As a member of Crawley Town's school partnership, schools can receive:

·       Breakfast clubs

·       PE and curriculum time lessons

·       Lunch time coaching

·       Football and Multi-Sports

·       After school clubs

·       Help with fundraising

·       Signed merchandise

·       Complimentary tickets

·       Player visits

Gwion Edwards and Conor Henderson recently visited Warninglid School where they took part in a PE session, answered questions and coaching the youngsters.

The session was so intense that at one stage Conor had to pull out of some hefty challenges made by the children!
