Manager John Gregory preview's Tuesday's game

Manager John Gregory looks ahead to Tuesday night's game against Walsall.

"The boys felt a bit sorry for themselves when they came in on Monday. We watched the DVD of the Notts County game and I said a few things which had to be said.
"In all the time here I have never seen us bullied like that. It was a shock - something I didn't expect because we have some strong characters in that dressing room.
"The ease with which they scored their goals - certainly the first three - was embarrassing but we went through things and then had a good session on the training ground and the mood afterwards is remarkably upbeat going into the Walsall game. The boys can't be allowed to forget what happened on Saturday. I can accept losing to the better team but when it's self inflicted, as it was on Saturday, is something I cannot accept."

"If we could have played Sunday we would have because when you have a bad result you want the chance to put it right as soon as possible and we have that against Walsall.
"We need to get back to basics and start defending as a team in the manner I know we can because we've seen it in a lot of games this season. The boys can't wait for the opportunity to right a few wrongs."

"We do have Josh Simpson fit and available for selection and it will be good to have the captain back.
"I may make a couple of changes and the options are there if I want too. Whoever goes out there representing Crawley Town knows they need to produce something a lot better than Saturday."

"They are in a false position. (Manager) Dean (Smith) has got some very talented lads up there. They will be like us - determined to put a bad result on Saturday behind them. I think they will climb the table but hopefully that won't start until after tomorrow."
