John Gregory on new arrivals

Keith and Josh can make big impression says manager

John Gregory believes new signings Keith Keane and Josh Wright (pictured) can have as big an impact as a couple of players from Reds' recent history.

The pair have arrived on 93-day loans from Preston and Millwall respectively and will be in the squad to face Fleetwood on Saturday.

John said: "Keith is a bit like Dannie Bulman, but a younger version who is vastly experienced and will bring more leadership to the side.

"And Josh has been given the No.10 shirt, which I'd been reluctant to give away until the right player came along. He's a bit like Andy Drury was for us and I think he will do the shirt justice.

"Both are players I have been looking at for a while. They are coming here because they need games and they took little persuading to commit themselves to Crawley Town for the next three months. I think they will make a really positive difference to us."

With Joe Walsh and Gwion Edwards back in contention after returning from international duty, there are plenty of options for the boss this Saturday.

"We missed Joe and Gwion last week, they are both important players for us," added John. "It's going to give me a nice selection headache for Saturday in terms of personnel and formation but one I would happily have every week.

"The new lads have come in at a good time because we have a busy schedule coming up again with two tough away games to follow on Saturday so we are going to need to be at our strongest in terms of the squad."
