Matt Turner joins Board of Directors

Lifelong fan proud of new role

Crawley Town FC are delighted to welcome Matt Turner, a well-known and local young entrepreneur to their board of Directors.


Matt Turner was schooled at Hazelwick and runs two successful businesses based on Manor Royal in Crawley. 


Creative Pod – an award winning design marketing and print agency who are also the back of shirt sponsors for the club, and Young Start-up Talent, a community based entrepreneurial initiative that inspires 16-25 year olds to start their first business which offers a £50k prize fund.


CEO Michael Dunford said: “We are proud to invite Matt to be a member of the board. He brings a wealth of local knowledge, contacts and marketing clout to the club and has solid and robust plans for the future.”


Matt’s first experience with the club was age 10 when he used to watch the Red Devils at Town Mead. “Being invited to join the board is an extremely proud and nostalgic moment for me," he said.


“As a sponsor and fan of the club I feel I am perfectly positioned to help improve and enhance the profile of the club as well as fan engagement. Matt’s objectives are to improve the clubs image and marketing profile along with increasing gate numbers through creative marketing campaigns and strategic alliances.
