CTSA UPDATE by CHAIRMAN CAROL BATES

It’s been a very busy closed season for all members of the CTSA Board, with lots of work going on behind the scenes.

We’ve nearly completed the delivery of the “Balls for Schools”, which was our Community Initiative for 2013-14. We’d like to thank all our supporters who helped sell and buy 50/50 half time draw tickets, as the money we raised enabled us to donate footballs to all the primary schools in Crawley.

We have refined our travel policy and hope to bring you some good offers to help you follow The Reds on the road. If you have never travelled away before, it’s always difficult to make that first trip but once you do, I’m sure you’ll want to do it again and again. Come and see us in the Cabin and have a chat and you’ll see we’re quite friendly!

We have changed the Membership this season so all season ticket holders are entitled to CTSA membership. Again, come and see us in the Cabin and we will give you your membership cards. We are also looking for supporters to come and help us on our sub-committees. There is always plenty of work to do!

We are here to represent you, the supporters, and if you have any questions or comments you would like to discuss with us or you want us to talk to the Club about, please contact us. You can reach us at the following email addresses:  chair@ctfcsa.co.uk, secretary@ctfcsa.co.uk, membership@ctfcsa.co.uk, treasurer@ctfcsa.co.uk and community@ctfcsa.co.uk.  If you want to book any travel, please either text/phone 07843 124845 or email travel@ctfcsa.co.uk.

This season we turn our fundraising efforts into helping the Community with its Foundation work in the local area. We are putting monies raised into the “Kicks” programme that has been running in Bewbush and Ifield for the last six weeks. Having visited them a few times, it’s a fantastic use of our fundraising and benefits the local community by educating local youngsters, through football, with the help of the local Police and Council. A great start to the new season!
