Dean: Fans can play their part

16 April 2015

Rallying cry from Dean Saunders ahead of the Notts County game

Dean Saunders has appealed to Reds’ fans to be loud and proud on Saturday in arguably the biggest game of the season against Notts County.

A win would lift Reds out of the bottom four with two games to go and our Interim Manager has stressed the importance of the part the supporters can play.

Dean said: “Since I came to the club the main thing I have noticed is that our crowds have gone up and the noise levels at home have been great.

“In a small stadium like ours to have our fans on all three sides really getting behind the team from the first whistle can make a big difference.

“Please come down on Saturday and get behind the boys. Bring you mates – the more people we have in the ground supporting us the better.

“On my part, I will make sure the players are 100% prepared to give everything they have to get the result we all want.”
