Ward and Simpson fit for Notts County
Interim Manager Dean Saunders had some good news to report this afternoon ahead of Saturday's big game with Notts County.Darren Ward and Josh Simpson are both fit having recovered from heel and hamstring injuries respectively.
Darren has missed our last four games while Josh hasn't figured since November 8 in the FA Cup tie against Yeovil.
Dean said: "They are two experienced players who will add to the options we've got, especially Wardy.
"To lose him, Dean Leacock and Richard Wood, who went back to Rotherham, was a big blow. We've had to put together a makeshift back four in the last two games and I think it has shown.
"Josh trained for the first time today and got through the session well. He's worked hard with his rehab and as the player who's been here longer than anyone I know he's desperate to play a part if he can to keep Crawley Town in League One."
Marvin Elliott could also be available on Saturday. He missed the Walsall game on Tuesday after suffering an infection and will be assessed prior to Saturday.
