Defender recalled by Championship club
Richard Wood has returned to Rotherham after the Championship club today invoked the clause allowing them a 24-hour recall notice on the player.
Richard played ten games for the Reds and scored three goals and everyone at Crawley Town would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him all the best for the future.
Manager Dean Saunders said: “It’s a blow because Woody has been brilliant for us - a great pro and someone who has helped us keep clean sheets in three of our last four games.
"I'd like to thank him for all he's done for us and also to Rotherham for letting us have him on loan>
"But it does give others opportunity, starting at Scunthorpe on Saturday.”
