TEAM NEWS

Lanre Oyebanjo and Gavin Tomlin are both out until October for Reds. 

Striker Ryan Taylor hopes to have recovered from an ankle knock suffered in last Saturday's friendly against Coventry to be available for Oxford.


In five pre-season games Oxford only lost once, 1-0 to Woking. Last Saturday they drew 0-0 with League One Coventry City.THE FORM GUIDE               

Reds played six pre-season games, winning three and losing three.

WE’VE MET BEFORE?

This will be the third meeting in the Football League between the teams.

In the 2011-12 League Two campaign, Reds beat the U's 4-1 at home and drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture on January 2, 2012 thanks to a late headed equaliser by Tyrone Barnett.
