THE FORM GUIDE
Reds are still looking for their first win of the season after a draw and two defeats. Pompey have won all three matches so far in League and Cup.
VIEW FROM THE BENCH
: "It's as tough as they get in this division. They have a big squad and have started the season very well, which is not surprising. No one will fancy us but if we produce a 90 minute performance I think we can give anyone a good game."Mark Yates
: "We're not getting carried away. It's a good start but we're keeping our feet on the ground and looking forward to another tough game on Tuesday."Paul Cook (Portsmouth manager)
WE’VE MET BEFORE?
This will be the second League meeting between the clubs. Back in 2012-13, Reds lost 3-0 at home to Pompey in a televised Sunday game when Hope Akpan and Josh Simpson were sent off, but we gained revenge at Fratton Park on Boxing Day with a 2-1 win courtesy of goals by Mat Sadler and Billy Clarke.
