23 December 2015

Local company Structured Communications agree sponsorship until 2018

Crawley Town FC are delighted to announce that local telecommunications provider Structured Communications have agreed a sponsorship deal until the end of the 2017-18 season.

During this period, the South Stand, affectionately named the Bruce Winfield Stand, at the Checkatrade.com Stadium will be renamed, with the blessing of the Winfield family, as the 'Structured Communications Stand'.

Managing Director and Crawley Town supporter, Chris Dale, said: “The whole team at Structured Communications are excited and very proud to have confirmed this partnership with Crawley Town FC.  Structured Communications

"We are looking forward to bringing our children to watch The Reds and supporting the football club in the seasons to come.”

“We feel honoured to have taken over the naming rights to the South Stand, and we must pay tribute to the late Bruce Winfield for what he has done for Crawley Town Football Club. We must also thank Bruce's wife, Silpa Winfield, for without her blessing this could not have happened.”

Structured Communications are a solutions provider within the communications sector, offering state-of-the-art VoIP (voice over internet protocol), fixed telephone lines, structured cabling and broadband connectivity.

Founded by a young team of highly experienced technical staff with over 50 years of telecommunications experience between them, they pride themselves on a high level of service and product quality.

Chris added: “The Structured Communications team are always looking for ways to make a positive impact in the community, which is why we are committed to supporting Crawley Town for the next two and a half years.”

Chief Executive, Michael Dunford said: “We’re delighted to have secured an agreement with Structured Communications for the next two and a half years to sponsor the South Stand.

“Whilst the South Stand has been affectionately associated with the memory of Bruce Winfield for the last four years, with the blessing of Silpa and the Winfield family we have now been able to secure additional commercial income vital in helping to continue the progress of the club.

“It would have been Bruce’s wishes that the club maximised its income streams in this way. Bruce’s name will live on in Winfield Way, on the road accessing the stadium.”
