Adults from learning disability charity in Ifield pay us a visit
A group of adults from Outreach 3 Way, a learning disability charity based in Ifield, were invited to the Checkatrade.com Stadium for a tour last week.
A group of 11, along with their carers, were treated to a tour of the boardroom, players’ lounge, hospitality suite, control room and press box, before a final stop in the club shop for some pre-Christmas shopping!
The visit was organised as part of the developing partnership between Crawley Town Community Foundation and Outreach 3 Way, which will culminate in the creation of a Crawley Town disability team at the start of the 2016-17 season.
The visit also represented a continuation of the Foundation’s Disability History month celebrations, which were launched at the Bristol Rovers game on the 21st November.
