Big-hearted Reds' fans raise money for the mayor's charity
Cllr. Chris Cheshire, the Mayor of Crawley, has thanked kind-hearted fans for their support of the Springboard charity at the recent home game against Bristol Rovers.
Chris, who is a Reds’ season ticket holder, said: “A big 'thank you' to everyone who donated to the Mayor's bucket collection for Springboard.
“Both home and away fans were very generous and we raised an amazing total of £604 which will help provide opportunities for local disabled youngsters.
“Thanks also to the club for giving me the opportunity. It shows what a good hearted football club we are.”
