Ipswich defender to remain with the Reds
Defender Josh Yorwerth is to stay with Reds until the end of the season. The 20-year-old had been due to return to parent club Ipswich Town after playing his 14th game for Reds in the 2-0 defeat at Wycombe on Monday at the end of his three-month loan.
But the two clubs have now agreed that the Wales under-21 international will be with us for the remainder of the campaign when the transfer window opens on January 2, subject to Football League ratification.
Manager Mark Yates said: "We're delighted to be able to keep Josh until the end of the season. He's enjoyed his time with us, he is gaining valuable experience with every game and it's an arrangement that suits all parties. I would like to thank Mick McCarthy and Ipswich for agreeing to let us keep Josh."
