Attwell in charge

26 January 2015

Officials appointed for Tuesday's trip to Chesterfield

Stuart Attwell will take charge of Reds’ game at Chesterfield in Sky Bet League One on Tuesday night.

The Warwickshire official has given out 61 yellow and three red cards in 23 games this season.

He has refereed Reds twice before. In November 2011 he sent off Crewe’s Shaun Miller, who lad a loan spell at Crawley earlier this season, in the 1-1 draw at Gresty Road.

Almost three years to the day (January 28, 2012) he was in charge when a goal from Matt Tubbs earned Reds a 1-0 win at Hull City in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

He will be assisted by Marvyn Amphlett and Duncan Street. The fourth official is Michael Denton.
