Spotland passes lunchtime pitch inspection
Today's Sky Bet League One game against Rochdale is on after a lunchtime pitch inspection.The surface had been covered overnight and a team of 40 ground staff and volunteers spent the morning clearing snow and removing pitch covers.
After having a look at the conditions in the morning, referee Trevor Kettle decided the pitch was playable following an inspection at 12.30pm.
But with more snow showers falling, the officials continue to monitor the conditions.
