Midfielder looking forward to new challenge with Reds
Midfielder Anthony Wordsworth admits the enthusiasm of Interim Manager Dean Saunders was a big factor in his decision to head to Reds.
The 26-year-old midfielder has joined Crawley on a three-month loan from Ipswich and will be in the squad for Saturday’s trip to Rochdale.
Anthony said: “I had other offers but when I spoke to the Gaffer he sold the club and what he’s trying to achieve really well.
“There are more than 20 games left which is nearly half the season and I’m looking forward to getting involved and trying to help the boys climb the table.”
